General Purpose

Responsible for supporting financial and external accounting in a legal entity.


Main responsibility areas

•     Supporting accurate and timely NSN group reporting in a country
•     Ensuring the right process exists in a country consisted with NSN global policies, procedures and processes, ensuring the processes knowledge and technical competence is available.
•     Supporting the Country accountant in all technical accounting & fiscal matters.
•     Expert contact for accounting, corporate global processes integrity and quality in a country, therefore providing the (no operational) accounting platform within a country
•     Supporting the implementation of Global F&C structures, accounting principles, processes and systems a country.
•     Technical accounting expertise: IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles
•     Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Accounting QA process (PEV cycle) a country.
•     Quality of the outcome: accounting closing, BS validation, reconciliation and attestation and other accounting quality assurance processes
•     Quality of the process: verifies quality and consistency in methodology and accounting principles applied, reporting / escalation into regional CFO when issues arise.
•     Support for statutory accounting external reporting and related audit and governance: execution, control and results
•     Supports and coordination of global process and tool deployments a country
•     Supports for implementing Global F&C structures, accounting principles, processes and systems a country
•     Supports for accurate and timely NSN group reporting a country
•     Supports preparation of Global F&C tool and system blueprints, user guides and training material.
•     Responsible for identifying and escalating process/systems issues to Global F&C and IT that cannot be resolved locally• Initiates F&C tool development, if needed.
•     Supports data cleanup activities in a Country.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Additional Requirements

A member ACCA or equivalent.
