Job Title: Project Officer :( 1post)
Reports to: Program Manager:
Location; Hoima.
Key tasks:
·
Formation of district and sub county child
protection committees.
·
Mobilization and sensitization of community
groups on the relevancy of formal education.
·
Formation of Youth clubs that promotes and
protect child rights.
·
Mobilization and raising awareness with local
leadership on combating child labour in tobacco growing areas.
·
Networking, collaboration and Advocacy with
stakeholders.
·
Coordin6ates in66 the training of groups in the
implementation of Village saving and Loans Association (VSLA) Methodology, food
security, Sanitation.
·
Participate in M& E Fun67ctions.
·
Supervision of Community Based
Trainers/Facilitators
Desired qualification and Experience:
A degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences Human
Rights, Business Management or any related field.
Continuous experience of 2years in Community Development,
Training and Facilitation is desirable.
Knowledge of the local languages(Runyoro and ability to ride
a motorcycle is a must.
