The Tax Appeals Tribunal is established by the Tax Appeals
Tribunals Act, Cap 345 to resolve taxation disputes between tax payers and
Uganda Revenue Authority
The Tax Appeals Tribunal hereby invites applications from
suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

ASSISTANT (1 POST)
ORGANISATION: The
Tax Appeals Tribunal
DUTY STATION:
ARUA
Responsibilities
include the following:
• Day to
day management of the regional registry
• Receive
and process taxpayers' complaints
• Give
technical advice to taxpayers
• Maintain
the tribunal's library
• Keep record of
the tribunal's proceedings
• Organize
the tribunals functions and activities
• Any other
duties as may be assigned by the Registrar
Minimum requirements:
• Diploma
in law from a recognized institution
• Basic
working knowledge of tax laws and court procedures 2 years relevant experience in legal or court
or tribunal work
• 25 - 35
years old
The successful applicant should be ready to commence work
immediately.
An attractive remuneration package within the tribunal's
scales will be offered.
The position is tenable on a contractual period of three
years renewable at the discretion of the tribunal.
