Role Purpose:
The Project Manager, school Health Nutrition is responsible for effectively
and efficiently planning, management and delivery of the SHN core program
components within the Impact Area in ways that meet both local and
international Save the Children and respective donor requirements and
guidelines.
Qualification and Experience;
Essential
·
Minimum of a Post graduate
training in either public health, Health Systems Strengthening, Community
Health, Nutrition, social sciences, community development, Gender etc, a
Masters in public health will be anadded advantage.

At least 5 years progressive
experience in planning and implementation of school-based health programme
targeting all children, Adolescents inclusive.
·
Ability to speak the local
language fluently is a strong requirement. and ability to ride a motorcycle
(Honda XL 125).
·
Experience of working with local
partners and District Local Government in Child Rights and the candidate must
be having a valid riding permit and willing to ride a motorcycle.
Desirable
·
Demonstrable financial, planning
and budget management skills a MUST.
·
Demonstrated knowledge of
international and local policies and frameworks relating to their thematic area
is a must.
·
Ability to intervene with crisis
management or troubleshooting as necessary.
·
Excellent time management and
planning capacity
·
Experience of working with local
partners and District Local Government
