CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Plan, coordinate and execute health and nutrition activities within the Health and Agriculture-JSDF projects.
·         Supervise community health forums and identify health nutrition and training needs/gaps.
·         Facilitate and organize nutrition training and workshops.
·         Coordinating with other stakeholders to promote a healthy context or social environment as well as Sharing up-to-date information byanalyz¬ing, and applying current technical data relevant to nutritional health care services.
·         Developing policies and strategies for promoting nutritional health serv-ices both at local, regional or national level.(Polices should be in line with National policy)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·         Minimum of MSc. in Human nutrition/Public Health.
·         Working experience in Nutrition and Human health Projects
·         Good and practical knowledge in child care (nutrition) and reproductive health care services especially in mothers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
·         Should possess sufficient knowledge in the field of nutritional health both in Children and Adults.
·         Commendable managerial, administrative, analytical and decision-making skills.
·         Ability to readily analyze, understand and discuss new program de¬signs, and implementation approaches.
·         Demonstrated ability to identify priority actions, generate and complete work plans within short time frames.
·         Excellent communication in English both written and verbal. Must be computer literate.
