JMS is seeking to hire the services of qualified, competent and motivated Medical Representatives to act as a liaison between JMS, Customers and Stakeholders within their region of jurisdiction.

Position Title:Medical Representatives

Duty Station: Kampala, Mbarara, Fort Portal, Mbale, Soroti, Gulu, Arua.

Organizational Profile:

Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare services, and training of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices.

The Medical Representatives will operate from the seven geographical regions of the Uganda with operational offices in Kampala, Mbarara, Fort Portal, Mbale, Soroti, Gulu, Arua. Applicants are required to indicate their preferred location in their applications.

The successful candidates will be hired on Commission Basis and will be paid commission

based on achievement of the assigned targets. A monthly retainer fee will be paid, and transport facilitation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

    a) Act as a liaison between JMS and the different stakeholders in the assigned region, and resolve or report on pertinent issues.

    b) Promote Joint Medical Store products and services in the assigned territory.

    c) Monitor service delivery and manage special customer requests to ensure timely response.

    d) Implement promotional activities.

    e) Recruit new customers for JMS and implement initiatives to retain them.

    f) Participate in organizing promotional events, exhibitions and presentations.

    g) Provide relevant technical support to customers and stakeholders.

Academic Qualifications:

Minimum qualification is a Diploma in Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or Medical Laboratory Technology

Expected knowledge and experience:

·             Good training and experience in marketing of pharmaceutical products is desirable

·             Computer literacy including experience in use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

·             Proven experience in customer and market research

·             Strong clinical knowledge

·             Valid class B driving license/Moto Cycle license
