Brief Company Profile:
1.0 Introduction
Community Enterprises Development Organization (CEDO), a memberbased,
indigenous non-governmental organization based in Kalisizo-Rakai
District has received funding from Lutheran World Relief, www.lwr.org and
Progresso, www.progres.nl.
to lead other two partners to implementation of a Project, Sustainable
Enterprises for Trade Engagement “SENTE”. The project aims at contributing to
improved livelihoods of smallholder farmers through sustainable agriculture and
has a strategic objective of increasing incomes of targeted smallholder Bean,
Coffee, and Maize farmers of the greater Masaka area from the marketing of
their cash crops. CEDO wants to use part of the funds to hire competent staff
to manage the project.
ICT officer (1 Position)
Shall report to the project coordinator while providing support mechanisms
to ensure efficient collection, analysis, and fl ow of high-quality project
data. The person will be responsible for maintaining quality content on
platform.
Key requirements
Bachelor Degree Qualification in business computing, computer Science/
Engineering and practical knowledge of database management, website
management and GIS will be added advantage.
Finance and Administration officer (1 position),
Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the project
finance and administration offi cer will performs all bookkeeping, budget
Control, financial analysis and reporting related to personnel administration.
Accountants (2 positions, )
Lyantonde and Masaka) Under the direct supervision of the marketing manger, the person
will oversee financial and inventory mangement, data entery and processing at
collection centres, performs all bookkeeping, disburse payments reporting
related to personnel administration.
Key requirements
Atleast a diploma in financial management, or related discilplne. Good
knowledge of computerized acounting, business management and data base
management will be added advantage.

• All applicants must be willing to work and reside within the project area
• A motivator for a team and commitment to work towards project objectives
• Fluent in oral and written English
• Ability to work on tight schedules
• Willing to work under performance based reward system
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Sound computer knowledge (Word, excel, Access and email)
• Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle.
