Position Title: Store Keeper (1 position)

Responsibilities
·
Ensure that all items brought
into the stores are received and recorded on time
·
Ensure that all Issues out of
store are against properly authorised requisitions
·
Ensure that all stock cards
are regularly updated
·
Ensure that there is regular
stock verifications
·
Ensure that items in the
store are Kept in accordance with prescribed health, safety and other standards
·
Prepare and Produce stores
reports on a monthly basis
·
Provide input in keeping
required stock levels
·
Follow up orders placed with
suppliers to expedite the delivery of the required items or services
·
Provide technical support and
guidance to management on stores issues
·
Develop and maintain
effective stores management policies, systems, regulations and procedures for
MNSL
·
Regularly update the stores
ledger
·
Ensure cleanliness and
neatness of stores
·
Maintain adequate security in
the stores
Job Specifications
·
Diploma in Business
Administration or Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, or its
equivalent
·
Minimum of two year’s working
experience
·
Must be aged between 25 – 35 years
Key Competencies:
·
Computer literacy and knowledge
of accounting software package(s)
·
Demonstrated experience in
managing stocks
·
Able to work under minimum
supervision
