Position Title: Human Resources for Health
Officer

Job Description:
Human Resources for Health Officer provides technical leadership to support
the districts to plan, manage and develop the HRH workforce including
implementation and technical quality of the project’s HRH work.
Ensures provision of technical support for implementation of selected
priority activities from the HRH Strategic Plan.
Leads activities that guide the districts to generate workforce
information, applies workforce data to strengthen HRH policies and practices,
and utilizes innovative approaches to strengthen the workforce.
Qualifications:
• At least 8 years of
experience in HRH or relevant technical area.
• Demonstrated expertise
in providing technical leadership in health workforce planning & management
in decentralized health systems including sound knowledge of the Government of
Uganda’s system.
