Post Title: Administrative Assistants –Level 6 (5 vacancies)
Organisation:The Microfinance Support Centre Limited (MSC)
Main role: Provide administrative and logistical support to Management and ensure easy and orderly access to records and information as well as processing of information.
Reports to: Heads of Departments
Background Information:
The Microfinance Support Centre Limited (MSC) is a linchpin of Government of Uganda (GOU) micro credit programmes under the Rural Financial Services Strategy.

MSC facilitates access to affordable, sustainable and convenient financial
and Business Development services to active and productive Ugandans.
MSC Ltd supports legally established entities engaged in the value chain
namely; production, value addition and marketing enterprises.
In order to realize its vision & mission, the Company seeks to recruit suitable
persons to fill the following vacant position in its establishment.

Key Result Areas
1. Well organised and maintained Offices of the company.
2. Well coordinated meetings, appointments, and manage all official correspondences for the smooth operations of the Offices.
3. Ensure adequate customer values are adhered and the general professional image of the company.
4. Perform any other duties as assigned by the leadership team of the company.

Job Description
1. Carry out Microsoft Office, Word Processing and other
computer operations to produce timely information and data for management.
2. File manual and electronic office information for future use and reference.
3. Schedule and organize appointments and meetings as requested.
4. Facilitate records management system for the department by maintaining an inventory of major company documents and safety through secure storage and back-ups.
5. Organize travels for company staff, visitors, Board Members.
6. Maintain record of key company contacts and clients for appropriate liaison.
7. Record and transcribe reports and minutes as may be requested.
8. Receive, screen and analyze correspondence, reports and forward to relevant action officers; maintaining a tracking system for follow-up to ensure replies are timely or action is taken within established guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications and personal skills required for the role
The position requires the following minimum qualifications:
1. Diploma from a recognized Training Institution in Business, Social work, Public Administration, Secretarial services, librarianship or computer science.
2. Proven ability to use computers.
3. Qualifications in secretarial and office practice with 2 years working experience is a must.
4. A University degree obtained from a recognized institution will be of added advantage.
5. Aged between 25-40 years and above.
