Background Information:
Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.

Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Mildmay Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested in a rewarding career undertaking any of these challenging roles.
1. Job Title: Business Development Officer
Reports to: Director Sustainability and Partnerships
Job Summary:
The position holder will be responsible for increasing Mildmay Uganda’s income base in order to increase unrestricted reserves, raise funds for non donor funded activities and to promote its financial sustainability by developing and presenting new and innovative ideas on fundraising and income generation; long terms financial plan within the business model as well as leading the development and implementation of Mildmay Uganda’s marketing strategy.
Job Requirements:
Successful candidate will have Bachelors degree in a Business related field or Marketing. Master’s degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
S/he must have at least 3 years’ experience in Sales and/or fundraising with a track record of meeting sales goals.
 Successful candidate will have proven record of revenue creation through generation of new businesses.
 S/he must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills as well as ability to influence and negotiate.
 Successful candidate will be a strong practicing Christian of good repute.
2. Job Title: Database Administrator
Reports to: ICT Manager
Job Summary:
The position holder will be responsible  for designing, developing and maintaining a Mildmay Uganda database systems and website infrastructure that is secure and reliable, as well as provide appropriate support to different technical teams to access and use data sources in programme implementation at Mildmay Uganda’s main site and supported programmes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering S/he must have at least 3 years’ professional work experience in Information Technology plus 2 years experience in Database Administration.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access Database with Programming background.
For both positions above, other qualities are:
 Good communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial.
Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confi dentiality. Must be fl exible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda. Evidence of a non-judgemental approach in human relations is critical.
