FEDERATION FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Organisation: Acholi Child and Family Program
LOCATION: The Job
holder will be based at the Area Office in Gulu District with frequent visits
to fields in Kitgum and Agago.
Accountability and
Reporting: The position holder will report to the Federation Manager with
dotted lines to Federation Board.

Information:
Acholi Child and Family Program is an affiliate of ChildFund
International, working through affiliate community based organizations in Gulu,
Kitgum and Agago districts.
The organization works to create lasting change and
impacts in the lives of the Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable Children and
their families through the three core intent areas of Healthy and secure infants, Educated and confident
children, Skilled and involved youth. The Organization seeks to employ suitably
qualified, self motivated and hardworking candidate for the post above.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Management and oversight on Federation financial
resources.
2. Federation Assets oversight and management.
3. Payroll management.
4. Financial reporting.
5. Ensuring proper accountability.
6. Supervision of line reports.
7. Grants management.
QUALIFICATION,
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/
Finance), Business Administration (Accounting/ Finance) or any other Finance
management related field with a relevant experience.
• Partial professional qualification in ACCA or CPA is an
added advantage
• Certificate in Procurement and Supply Chain
Management is an
added advantage
• Practical computer skills and experience with any
accounting software is desirable.
• Excellent reporting skills with the ability to meet tight
deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Highly flexible and able to work beyond normal working
hours, as need arises.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
• Demonstrable team-work.
• High level of personal integrity, honesty and
accountability.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in NGO setting.
