Back ground Information
SINFA Uganda is a part of an international development
project Internet Now! spearheaded by Oxfam that has direct focus on services
(BPO/impact sourcing. Agricultural Platform and Internet Access) that provides
Information, employment and income to community members through Internet. With
its headquarters in Gulu, the company is setting up a total of 100 centers in
Northern Uganda, to form a social enterprise. In order to implement its
business plan, the company is seeking services of a Chief Operations Officer.
Job Description
- Reporting to the Chief executive Officer (CEO),
- the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs.
- The COO will lead section managers, and more than 3 business models delivered across 100 sites with a staff of about 400.
- S/he will be responsible for all activities pertaining to licensure, service delivery, business development, and contracts management.
SINFA Uganda will
