and is seeking to recruit a competent individual to fill the vacant Position of
Customer Database Controller. The position reports to the Operations Manager
The main purpose of
the job is: -
Prime
responsibilities of the position:
·
Manage staff under Mobile records department and
channels & distribution sim registration projects data centres (eight
regional centres).
·
Manage and coordinate sim card registration
activities in the eight regional centres country wide.
·
Coordination of records management work in all
eight regional centres through reports, field visits and coaching.
·
Compilation of reports from all the eight
regional sim card registration centres and submitting to senior management.
·
Coordinate training with the Training Manager
for all regional records team members.
·
Plan, manage and ensure that mobile money
registration procedures by mobile money agents are adhered to through a vetting
process of all the returned registration forms and business processes.
·
Manage the entire process for the handling of
collected mobile money subscriber and agent records, updating them on the
system, and storing them securely and safely in line with statutory
requirements of the documents life cycle.
·
Periodic checks at the eight regional data
centres to ensure records management practice and databases in line with
standard practices, policies and procedures.
·
Maintain an updated database of fully registered
mobile money subscribers and agents on the SharePoint platform, as stipulated
by the Bank of Uganda KYC requirements.
·
Prepare accurate statutory requirements and
returns reports to the Head of Mobile Money for continual submission to Central
Bank as stipulated by Bank of Uganda.
·
Prepare a list for commission payments to mobile
money and sim registration agents from the system.
·
Develop strong relationship with the regulator
(Bank of Uganda), partner (Stanbic Bank) and mobile money records department.
·
Manage all public access products records
securely.
The applicant must
possess the following:
·
A Bachelor’s degree in Library Information &
Secretarial studies or Business Administration.
·
2 years’ experience in managing an archive or
working in a records management environment. Bank experience would be an added
advantage.
·
Experience in managing client/supplier
relationships.
·
Having held a management position is an added
advantage.
·
Experience in team building and coaching.
