Reports to: Senior Strategic Planning Analyst
JOB PURPOSE
The job holder will be responsible for Identifying,
researching, and analyzing key elements that affect the profitability, growth, and productivity of the Bank. The job holder shall support the implementation
and monitoring of the long-term goals and strategic objectives of the Bank to
ensure sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /KEY DELIVERABLES
ü
Monitor and update
the strategic roadmap highlighting the execution status using the assigned
strategic dashboards/tracking mechanisms.
ü
Conduct market
research and present research findings to guide Executive Decision Making.
ü
Work with the
Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to define strategic planning processes,
priorities, capabilities, measures of success, and timing of various
inputs/outputs.
ü
Conduct due
diligence on the Bank’s expansion, comprehensive investigation, and assessment
to support informed and strategic decision-making.
ü
Participate in the
preparation of the Bank for sustainability certification (The Sustainability
Standards & Certification Initiative, SSCI).
ü
Work with the
Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to develop financial models to evaluate the
Bank’s business opportunities and track the benefits of its specific investments.
ü
Participate in the comprehensive evaluation of product proposals through meticulous analysis.
ü
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop and execute a holistic
strategic planning process that contributes to informed decision-making.
ü Participate in the development of the
Bank’s Annual Budget and track the realization of the expected benefits from
the Investment(s).
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
ü
A Degree in
Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information, Business Administration,
or a related field.
ü
Excellent verbal
and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings
to Management and relevant stakeholders.
ü
Intellectually
curious with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas to solve
business problems.
ü
Strong critical
thinking abilities to draw sound conclusions from information and various data
sources.
ü
Problem Solving
and prioritization skills.
ü
Able to analyse
data objectively, applying logic though offering solutions while taking a
long-term perspective.
ü
Excellent MS Excel
and PowerPoint presentation skills
ü Able to work with cross-functional
teams and have the maturity to interact directly with senior Executives across
departments.
