Comprehensive Rehabilitation
Services For People with Disability in Uganda Comprehensive Rehabilitation
Services in Uganda (for people with disability) was established in 2006 as a
private non-profit, non-governmental organization and is supported by CBM
(Christian Blind Mission).
CoRSU Rehabilitation
Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre on Entebbe Road provides Orthopaedic
Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation, mainly for children with
disability.
Objective of the Position:
To assist the Storekeeper in
the day today running of the
hospitalstoresand stock management.
The position holder shall participate in updating
stock levels and procedures provided in
the stores procedures manual.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility and
accountability for maintaining proper
storage conditions of stocks
(especially drugs) under
storage by regular monitoring of their
temperatures.
• Receives stock on behalf
of the Storekeeper, ensuring that only quality products are accepted while
maintaining very short lead times between
ordering and delivery period.
• Assist the storekeeper to
consistently keep an accurate physical
and system based stock balances at all
times.
• Carry out the physically
checking of stock levels and maintaining
up to date records (Bin cards) in order
to facilitate/ease stock taking exercise.
• Facilitate regular stock
audits as may be requested by the line
supervisor.
Qualifications,Skills and
Experience
➢ A Diploma in Stores
Management, Logistics and Supplies
Management or Procurement and
Supplies Management.
➢ At least 2 years'
experience in a similar role in a busy
medical or drug store.
➢ Computer knowledge
and documentation skills
➢ Knowledge of hospital
stock jargons especially drugs is essential
➢ Good communication
and interpersonal skills.
