analysis, forecasting, class and school assessments and other research
activities that guide decision making. Extract, manipulate, and report data to
meet management requests on a timely manner

WindleInternational Uganda ormerly Windle Trust Uganda is a registered INGO whose
primary mission is to equip refugees and others affected by conflict in Africa
to meet the challenges of development through providing access to education,
training, and employment opportunities by advocacy and direct programme
activity. Windle International Uganda has been a leading provider of access to
university education, post-primary education, primary and vocational training
for conflict-affected Africans since 1996.
Windle
International lead partner of UNHCR implementing Education Programmes in Uganda
with close collaboration with the Government of Uganda through the Office of
the Prime Minister.
This
position as Windle International Uganda offers support to the EPA, EPO, and
Regional M&E Officer by providing key data to ensure that the school
management data are up-to-date, factsheet is accurate, complete and current.
Utilizing investigative, organizational and analytic skills, the Data
Administrator implements and executes data mining projects and creates reports
to provide insight into programming at settlement level.
In addition to data mining projects, the role
would also include inputting and updating information to our online database
and settlement webpage information.
Responsibilities
Schools and Learners Information Maintenance: Entering all new data into WIU system
Data Integrity: Running queries to
analyze and cleanse data. Identify obsolete information, inactive learners,
teachers and inconsistent data
Settlement’s
web pages including social media content generation and sharing with
communications department for posting and maintenance - Adding information,
copy and talking project photographs to the website and social media
Document
Tracking - Managing and maintaining our database and from time-to-time with
technical support from the Database Administer at head office
Physical
Demands:
This
position has physical demands where from time-to-time you will be required to
collected data from the field using motorbike as a mean to transport to and
from the field. Hence, a riding licence is a big asset to your application and
Windle Uganda.
Requirements for the position:

A degree in
statistics, quantitative economics and Economics, computer science or any other
related courses.

Minimum 3 years in
similar position
·
Knowledge of SQL
Base and HTML Code
·
Expert in Excel
(queries, pivot tables and vlookups) and Access
·
Proficient in other
Microsoft Office Programs and literacy in computer is a big asset
·
Impeccable

Organizational and

Able to speak the
IT language
