CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Coordinate program activities in respective branch offices and areas as
well as Country Office management activities.
·
Supervise the vaccination and de-warming activities in poultry and
live¬stock program at field level.
·
Supervise the training and refresher programs for all as required. Support
events management such as workshops, seminars, and essen¬tial meetings as well
as field visits at all levels.
·
Preparation of all the different status reports on all activities in the
pro¬gram timely.
·
Maintain the extension program 80% frequent field visits and proper
monitoring of program activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
·
A minimum of BSc. In Veterinary Medicine (BVM), Bachelors of Animal
production but a Masters' degree in relevant subject will be of high
pref-erences.
·
At least 1-2 years working experience in same position or related field.
Sound professional knowledge in the field of communication and net-working in
development sector.
·
Leadership and good presentation skills are a must.
·
Must be ready to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, with no or
minimal supervision required, as well as good decision and problem solving
skills.
·
Demonstrated ability to identify priority actions, generate and complete
work plans within short time frames
