Role :
To pick, transfer and respond to
calls on the Bank’s general lines
Key Result Areas:
1. Answering incoming calls,
greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and taking messages
as necessary.
2. Operate communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard, intercom,
two-way radio, or public address.
3.Relay or route written or verbal messages to various stakeholders .
4. Place telephone calls or arrange conference calls as instructed.
5.Capture customer issues that come in through the switch board and submit
a weekly report and monthly report.
6. Escalate and follow up
outstanding issues with respective stakeholders
Qualification:
Required Qualifications
Honours Bachelor’s degree from a
recognised institution
Experience, Skills and Competencies

2-3 years’ experience with an
in depth understanding of the Bank’s operation
·
A good understanding of the
Bank’s products and services
·
Previous exposure in a call
Centre or as a Switch Board Operator an added advantage
·
Good communication and inter
personal skills
·
Creative thinking
·
Ability to interpret the meaning
of information for others
·
Ability to analyse data and or
information
·
Grievance handling, negotiation
and conflict resolution skills
·
Superior telephone etiquette
·
Good organization, planning, and
Prioritization skills.
·
Keeping up-to-date technically
and applying new knowledge to your job.
