Post title: Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director
Job Purpose
•
Develop and manage the implementation of
marketing programs aimed at improving Vivo Energy Uganda's competitive position
in sales of fuels, lubricants and convenience retail.
•
Drive the development of marketing competencies
in Vivo Energy Uganda.
•
Through effective selection and implementation
of marketing programs contribute towards achievement of Vivo Uganda Volume,
Margin, Market share and Brand Share of Preference targets.
•
Manage the Brand.
Key Responsibilities
•
Prepare annual marketing plan and budget.
•
Implement the annual marketing plan for fuels,
refueling, lubricants and Convenience Retailing and deliver on time, in full,
within budget, and in line with the respective initiatives' stated objectives.
•
Interface with the Central Marketing team and provide
local level input into marketing plans
•
Develop and execute marketing research
activities. evaluate findings and
develop action plans from the results.
•
Plan and manage tactical promotions.
•
Together with Sales teams, develop product
pricing strategy.
•
Conduct PIRs for marketing campaigns.
•
Manage the Shell Customer facing Brand.
Job Knowledge, Skills
& Experience
•
An Upper Second Degree in Marketing or related
field with at least 5 years' experience
•
Demonstration of the aspired Enterprise First behaviors
(Leadership, Accountability, Teamwork) and Vivo core values (Honesty.
Integrity, Respect for People)
•
Strong Marketing Experience (including brand
building. concept development, financial accountability, development and
implementation of big marketing programs).
•
Knowledge on project management skills, able to
handle multiple projects at a time.
•
Strong team member with excellent communications
skills
•
Methodical and converge on operational details -
must have an eye for details
Post title: Retail Sales Manager
Reporting to the Retail &
Lubricants Manager
Job Purpose
•
Responsible for leading, managing, coaching and
developing a team of Area Business Managers and Retailers, ensuring delivery of
Vivo Energy's Customer Commitment, and overall Sales and Operations targets.
•
Proactively engage and manage Retailer
relationships. Liaise with and provide feedback to other Retail departments
e.g. Marketing. Network, Ops Support etc.
•
Monitor delivery of Customer Commitment, and
compliance to site operations / Health, Security, Safety & Environment
standards.
Key Responsibilities
•
Develop (in consultation with the Retail
Manager) and deliver the annual Retail Sales plan and targets (i.e. volumes.
margins. costs, market share, BSP, etc)
•
Consistently deliver Vivo Energy's Customer
Commitment / Super Star Service programs as required through achieving high
standards of operational excellence at Retail Sites.
•
Improve customer satisfaction through
enhancement of people's skills/competencies. Achieve and maintain industry
leadership in customer satisfaction.
•
Continuously Coach, support and develop
Territory Managers in Retailer management.
•
Ensure that Retailers have valid retailer
agreements
•
Ensure compliance with required Retail processes
and procedures.
•
Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture
within the Sales Team and deliver greed HSSE targets.
Job Knowledge, Skills
& Experience
•
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
Engineering or related field.
•
At least 4 years Sales experience.
•
Experience/Knowledge of Oil Industry will be an
added advantage Track record in leadership & coaching skills
