a) PURPOSE OF THE
POSITION
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing
administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient
operations of the CRTT.
b) QUALIFICATION AND
EXPERIENCE
A Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a post graduate
diploma in EITHER Administration, or Human Resource Management, Project
Planning and Management, is required. Candidates with MBA will have an added
Advantage.
c) ROLES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Assist with all aspects of administrative management,
directory maintenance, logistics, and storage;
ii. Manage inventory of CRTT assets, supplies and consumables,
monitoring critical levels of stocks;
iii. Plan, Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews,
events, exhibitions and other similar activities;
iv. Create and maintain electronic and manual records
v. Coordinate repairs and maintenance of office equipment
and general cleanliness;
vi. Take charge of Board and Committee meetings;
vii. Prepare reports, disseminate information, dispatch
minutes, memos and letters;
viii. Requisition, maintain and account for financial and
other resources under his/her care;
ix. Supervise staff and ensure harmonious working
relationship amongst staff under his/her care;
d) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
AND ABILITIES
i. Knowledge
The candidate must have proficient knowledge in the
following areas:
- Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping
procedures;
- Familiarity with management and implementation of Projects
funded by Government of Uganda and donors.
ii. Skills
The candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

- Computer skills including the ability to operate
