TASK
Kitega Centre is seeking volunteers to help add graphics to its Village banking
course content. The course targets the rural poor and offers them financial
literacy. To make the course more interesting to the locals, we believe that adding
graphics especially pictures that relate to the subject discussed will greatly
accelerate learning and enable the locals understand in depth.
The Kitega centre will avail the course content for the volunteers to review and
add relevant graphics.
Communication will be online through email.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Since many poor people fail to raise the security to secure loans from financial
institutions, it is possible that they can organize with other members in the
community, save locally and access small loans to start up income generating
projects. All that is needed are guidelines that can ensure that this is a success.
The course content will help cover all these areas and ensure that people are
successful.
This program will target women mainly to be agents of change in their families,
OBJECTIVE
Equip women with skills to utilise small savings and loans to overcome poverty.
Easily monitor and distribute grant to groups rather than individuals.
Sprouting community ideas by availing resources for use.
