Job purpose:
To coordinate and provide technical and
professional guidance in the management of education and sports policies, plans
and programmes in the district.
Qualifications:
Should hold an Honors bachelors Degree in
education from a recognized University or Institution.
Either a Masters degree in education
planning and management or Human resources management or Public Administration
and management or other related managerial fields from a recognized
University/Institution.
Experience:
At least 9 years working experience, 3 of
which must have been in management of an educational institution of gained from
professional experience in managerial capacity at the level of principle
education officer.
Job
Purpose:
To register land titles and other legal
documents related to land.
Qualifications:
Honors Bachelors Degree in Law and Diploma
in Legal Practice from a recognized University or Institution.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Preparing and registering all lease documents in the district
- Issuing title deeds in accordance with National Land Registration standards and guidelines
- Providing and ensuring safe custody of certificates of land titles
- Investigating and disposing all land disputes in the district
- Lodging and removing al caveats in accordance with national standards and guidelines;
- Effecting transfers of the deeds and lodging mortgages.
- Developing and maintaining a district land registration register.

Job
Purpose:
To undertake land surveys in the local
government and verify survey results by private companies and individuals.
Qualifications:
Honors bachelors of Science Degree in
either surveying, Geometrics or any other relevant field from recognized
training institution
Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Conducting the surveys of the local government land as requested by the relevant authorities.
- Providing technical support to the local government on land management issues
- Supervising the drawing fo land plans for accomplished surveys
- Opening boundaries of local government land.
- Verifying and authenticating deed plans.
- Establishing and distributing control point for surveys
- Preparing and submitting work plans and budgets for land survey activities.
