VACANCIES
Bank of Baroda (Uganda limited invites application for employment fromsuitable dynamic qualified and competence Ugandans willing to serve any where in the country for following positions:

POSITION: DIRECTLY RECRUITED OFFICER
Job Responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
§  Ensure effective management of business operation of the Bank
§  Fundamental understanding of the Banks’ objectives and the roles of the employees working under him or her guidelines and policies established for the bank, employees and customers.
§  Supervise, control ,support and guide the staff working under him /her for ensure proper discharging of their respective duties.

§  Marketing new and existing products and services.
§  Providing satisfactory services to customers and redressing their grievances, if any,
§  Monitoring, control and reporting daily transactions /developments to the respective authorities, balancing of books and update housekeeping.
§  Processing of credit proposals appraisal, sanction monitoring follow up and recover of advances A/Cs Renewal/Review of credit facilities handling of sticky, stagnant and degreed A/C , pre and post sanction inspection for monitoring credit A/cs.
§  Field visits for meaningful purpose and liaising with various agencies or authorities to mobilize business.
§  Presentation of documents/bills for realization and prompt clearance , follow ups of long outstanding entries.
§  Authorizing payment of valid instruments i.e. Cheque, BC/billspayable,DD, MT, TT, EFT, RTGS, SWIFT remittance,etc.observing all norms/instructions and necessary follow up actions. Passing of vouchers with delegated powers, keeping proper custody of documents /security forms and other assets of the Bank.
§  Above job roles are just illustrative but not exhaustive. Thus, include any other duties assigned by senior management from time to time.

Requirements:
Applicant should possess leadership, Team building, computer and excellent interpersonal communication skills, beside high degree of integrity and confidentiality with ability to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
Graduate with a first class or second upper class Degree preferably in Commerce/Accounting and Finance. Additional qualification/certificates in human Resource, Treasury and Credit management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
3 years experience is desirable, however, 3 -5 years experience in Bank/Financial Institution in area of operational Banking, Credit, Forex, Treasury,etc is preferable.
Age: Maximum 35 years.
