Bank of Baroda (Uganda limited
invites application for employment fromsuitable dynamic qualified and
competence Ugandans willing to serve any where in the country for following
positions:
POSITION: DIRECTLY RECRUITED OFFICER
Job Responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
§
Ensure effective management of business
operation of the Bank
§
Fundamental understanding of the Banks’
objectives and the roles of the employees working under him or her guidelines
and policies established for the bank, employees and customers.
§
Supervise, control ,support and guide the staff
working under him /her for ensure proper discharging of their respective
duties.
§
Marketing new and existing products and
services.
§
Providing satisfactory services to customers and
redressing their grievances, if any,
§
Monitoring, control and reporting daily
transactions /developments to the respective authorities, balancing of books
and update housekeeping.
§
Processing of credit proposals appraisal,
sanction monitoring follow up and recover of advances A/Cs Renewal/Review of
credit facilities handling of sticky, stagnant and degreed A/C , pre and post
sanction inspection for monitoring credit A/cs.
§
Field visits for meaningful purpose and liaising
with various agencies or authorities to mobilize business.
§
Presentation of documents/bills for realization
and prompt clearance , follow ups of long outstanding entries.
§
Authorizing payment of valid instruments i.e.
Cheque, BC/billspayable,DD, MT, TT, EFT, RTGS, SWIFT remittance,etc.observing
all norms/instructions and necessary follow up actions. Passing of vouchers
with delegated powers, keeping proper custody of documents /security forms and
other assets of the Bank.

Above job roles are just illustrative but not exhaustive.
Thus, include any other duties assigned by senior management from time to time.
Requirements:
Applicant should possess leadership, Team building, computer
and excellent interpersonal communication skills, beside high degree of
integrity and confidentiality with ability to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
Graduate with a first class or second upper class Degree
preferably in Commerce/Accounting and Finance. Additional
qualification/certificates in human Resource, Treasury and Credit management
will be an added advantage.
Experience:
3 years experience is desirable, however, 3 -5 years
experience in Bank/Financial Institution in area of operational Banking, Credit,
Forex, Treasury,etc is preferable.
Age: Maximum 35
years.
