1. Coordinate secondary market orders with the CP and promptly advise on
delivery
2. Receive and accurately respond to or follow up customer queries and
inquiries
3. Follow up and confirm dispatch and invoicing of customer orders with
customer care
4. Follow up on customer balances as per credit days and advise on invoices
due for clearance
5. Participate in sales promotion activities including: trade fairs and
sales campaigns
6. Collect information on customer satisfaction and the competition
7. Analyze CP floor stock and advise on order booking in relation to CP
targets.
8. Submit weekly market intelligence reports to the regional sales manager
9. Advise on movement of products and brands in secondary markets
10. Advise on appropriate marketing and promotion strategies in assigned
territory to support sales
11. Supervise and guide merchandisers for optimum product visibility in
supermarkets and retail outlets
12. Provide data on customer performance and preferences on a regular basis
13. Prepare daily working report submitted to sales support
14. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Sales Manager
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
·
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce,
Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field. .
·
2 years of relevant experience in a
large manufacturing set up.
·
A Post Graduate Diploma is an added advantage
SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED
·
Ability to work independently, should have excellent selling skills,
effective communication skills, excellent customer care skills, sound decision
making skills and ability to work in the field.
·
Integrity, flexible, good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
·
Should have a positive attitude, results focused, creative, innovative, can
work for long hours under pressure with minimum supervision.
