REPORTS TO: OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGER

MAIN PURPOSE: To monitor information systems to identify risk exposures and make appropriate recommendations for risk mitigation.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
·          Review and assess inherent risks within new processes and systems
·          Monitor system security settings, identify & report breaches with relevant recommendations
·         for risk mitigation
·         Review system security control to identify security gasp & recommend improvements
·         Coordinate IT Control Self—Assessment (CSA) Undertake sensitization/training of staff on information security risk control
·         Monitor compliance with information security policies & procedures
·         Review the information security policies and appropriate
·         procedures to ensure that they are relevant to the current developments in information technology
·          Scan the environment and identify potential risk exposures to the Fund
·          Develop appropriate tools for information security exposures
·          Maintain database for information security monitoring
Education Requirements:
 A Bachelor's degreein Information Technology/Computer Science and at least first level professional qualification e.g. CISA, CISSP
Related Job Experience:
 2 years’ hands on technical experience in dealing with information security.
