Position: Citizen Voice Action
(CVA) Documentation and Data Management Officer
Report to: CVA Specialist
Location: Kampala
Purpose of position:
To document CVA processes and
management of CVA database for the East Africa Region
Key Responsibilities
· Support in maintaining
proper documentation of the CVA processes, best practices, significant change
stories and lessons learnt.
· To provide oversight to
National Office roll out and feedback on the operationalisation of the CVA
database.
· To collect, follow up and
enter the CVA data (Community gathering
details, monitoring standards, community score cards and action plan) into the
database.
· To generate reports for
evidence to support sub county, District, National and regional level advocacy.
· To coordinate capacity
building of ADP staff in database management and support the CVA Specialist in
building the staff capacity in local level advocacy (CVA) within the Region.
· To provide feedback to the
CVA Specialist and Support Offices on the effectiveness and efficiency of the
database.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Must have a degree in
Information Technology, Data Base Systems or Design, Monitoring and Evaluation
· Proven IT knowledge, skill
and experience in database management for at least one year or more
· Must be a computer literate
with analytical and data base management skills
· Must have facilitation
skills and able to build the capacity of other staff in data base management
· Must have excellent interpersonal,
community mobilisation, communication and documentation skills
