station in Uganda. We are a subsidiary of the Nation Media Group, which is East

well-qualified individuals and media professionals to fill the vacancies below.

Job Role:
To edit in-house videos and audio
material for news programmes, local programmers , commercials, documentaries,
features and promos within set deadlines
Main Responsibilities:
·
Receive video and audio materials on tapes from Reporters and Producers and
preview material received to ascertain the quality
·
Piece together the pictures and sound of material received to tell the
story by enhancing the quality of the programme with appealing music, visual
and sound effects
·
Ensure that the programme is of the required time and duration without
distorting the message
·
Recording/downloading news-clips and programmes on tapes for the
transmission desk to be aired within set deadlines.
Requirement:
·
A basic university degree
·
Professional Diploma in Film & Video Production (will be of an added
advantage)
·
A basic university degree (will be of an added advantage
·
3 years of practical work experience in a TV station or a renown Production
House
·
Multilingual Voice-over and Subtitling programming capability
·
Fluency in English language (both spoken and written)
·
Ability to remain calm, in control and good humored even under pressure
·
Ability to work long and odd hours in a fast paced environment
