            Position: Dy Manager IT for Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited

            Reporting: Head IT

            Location: Lugazi, Uganda (about 55 Km from the capital – Kampala)

            Key Responsibilities:

·         Support & Maintain the Oracle 10g based ERP package (Standard Commercial and Agriculture Modules) and other software installed in the Company.

·         Develop Forms and Reports in latest versions of Oracle and Developer 2000

·         Oracle database administration; Backup & Restoration activities

·         Handling ERP implementation process independently

·         To play a key role as a team leader to support the IT infrastructure on Hardware/ Networking/ Telecommunication & TV network and functions of Head-IT

            Candidate Profile:

·         5 to 7 years proven working experience in IT Software development

·         Hand on experience in ERP packages; knowledge/handling/ development of reports on 'ebizframe' ERP will definitely be an added merit

·         Experience with MS-Office, Windows Server operating systems, Tally, AutoCAD and other desktop utilities

·         Experience in IT infrastructure support

·         Ability to handle the tasks/projects independently

·         Must be a team player, result oriented, able to communicate fluently and guide/train his subordinates and peers in all IT areas.

·         Qualified with B.Sc (Computer Science); MCA from a recognized institute
